Attention Access Fund

For a family, “get support” can mean finding money that is not in the budget, navigating unfamiliar services and trying to keep home, school and care teams connected.
The Attention Access Fund exists to help close the gap between a recognized need and support a family can actually reach.
A restricted charitable program of Sapna Foundation, AAF focuses on access to family support, care coordination and educator development.
Why AAF exists
A recommendation is not the same as access.
A family can understand what their child needs and still be unable to take the next step. Cost can put appropriate support out of reach. Navigating different services can become another job for a parent already carrying a great deal.
Schools face a related challenge. Recognizing that a student is struggling does not automatically give educators the training, tools or time to respond well.
AAF gives philanthropy a clear purpose: help remove barriers between a child’s needs and the support around them.

How the funding model works

AAF’s model is designed around four steps:

Understand the barrier.
Identify the support being sought and what is preventing access, whether that is cost, navigation or another gap the fund can appropriately address.

Identify the right fit.
Consider suitable support against eligibility, program fit, available funding and provider capacity.

Fund and connect.
Connect an approved award to a defined support plan and qualified provider, with the family’s consent where applicable.

Look beyond the award.
The goal is for appropriate support to be reached and used, not simply for funding to be assigned on paper.
Funding is subject to eligibility, review, available funds and capacity. An inquiry does not guarantee an award or a place in a particular program.
How AAF connects to The Attention Institute

Sapna Foundation houses the Attention Access Fund. AAF is the charitable funding pathway, not another clinical or educational service.
The featured programs are possible pathways, not the full boundary of the fund. Other qualified options can also be considered under the fund’s eligibility and review requirements.
AAF does not diagnose children or provide medical treatment. Its purpose is to help make appropriate support accessible.
